The crystal is the heart of the blade.
The crystal animates the blade, it brings it to life; it is the life force of the blade. Furthermore, it illuminates the blade and gives it the capacity to carry out its purpose. It is also fragile, and necessary.

The heart is the crystal of the Jedi.
As the lightsaber cannot function without the crystal, neither can the Jedi function without their heart. It is that which animates us and allows us to have purpose. To be without a functioning one is to be without life.

The Jedi is the crystal of the force.
The Force relies on jedi ( as well as other beings) to fulfill its purposes in the universe. Unlike the heart, individual Jedi may be replaced, but the collective Jedi and others are the necessary” transportation system of the Force.”

The force is the blade of the heart.
The blade (especially if it is a lightsaber) is not just a weapon, but is an extremely versatile tool which can be used to over come many obstacles. So too, the Force is versatile, manifesting itself in many forms, but maintaining its roots.

All are intertwined
These things cannot function perfectly alone, but must exist in relationship.

The crystal, the blade, the Jedi.
These must be seen as extensions and representations of each other.
